Just yesterday, there was a game of 3-on-3 basketball played in the Bethany Christian Middle School gymnasium. The first team consisted of Trent Yoder, Cristian Romero, and Young Kwan Sun. The second team's players were Tanner Fervida, Isaac Brenneman and Christian Ramirez. Team 1 kept a steady lead by six points for the majority of the game, as is shown by the final score of 19-14.
If there had to be an MVP for this single game, it would be Tanner Fervida. This is because by himself he scored every single point for his team. Not only did he score all of the points, but 12 of those points were shot from behind the three point line and only one was a two point basket.
Although Tanner played very well, he could not have done it all on his own. He had many helpful passes from Isaac Brenneman. But not as many from his other teammate, Christian. The reason for this is most likely attributed to what Christian said, "This is my first time playing in a real basketball game. The only other time I've played some was at some practices in elementary school."
So once again, if there was an MVP for this particular game, it would be Tanner Fervida. But not far behind him would be Cristian Romero. There are numerous reasons for this estimate. To start, Cristian scored a total of 13 of his team's 19 points. That's not far off Fervida's 14. Also, Cristian had some very tricky and entertaining passes to his teammates. Cristian was the only person to stuff someone as well. Despite Cristian's talents, his teammate Trent Yoder ended up with 4 points and Young Kwan Sun finished with 2.
