Addi, Hans and Tylor and Ethan, Nahshon, and Jesse played each other in an intense 3-on-3 basketball game. It was very physical as both teams wanted the win, with many fouls happening in only an 8 minute game. Plus, within 5 seconds of the start of the game, both Tylor and Nahshon were on the ground.
This was a very close game as both teams clearly hadn't played for a while. There were many airballs and shots that had no chance of falling. So the leading scorers for both teams, Addi and Ethan, only came out with 4 points each. This kept the game close with the lead not exceeding 2 points until the very end of the game when Nahshon had a two point free throw opportunity with 30 seconds left to increase his team's lead to four. This ultimately made the win for Addi's team nearly impossible with all of the poor shooting and the small amount of time left in the game.
Nahshon's made free throw made the score 8-4 and Nahshon got high fives from his teammates as they now secured the win. After the buzzer sounded, the teams exchanged smiles and handshakes showing that there were no hard feelings and they were all still friends in the end. This might have been an intense game but it was just a 3-on-3 game that means nothing out of the moment.
But who knows, that winning team may move on to the U-14 3-on-3 tournament and win!
